# Third-party notices

TrypCell Atlas preserves original authorship, repository identifiers and
record-specific rights boundaries for scientific data. Public availability is
not treated as an automatic licence grant. See
`/data/redistribution-manifest.json` and `/standards/` before reuse.

## UCSC Cell Browser

The bundled interactive Cell Browser software is derived from the UCSC Cell
Browser project and is licensed under GNU GPL version 3. Its upstream source,
licence and citation guidance are available at:

TrypCell's study data, portal-curated metadata and the Cell Browser software
have separate rights statements. The GPL software licence does not assign a
licence to the scientific data.

## Scientific data

The primary papers, repositories and rights evidence for every study are
listed in the versioned data registry:

- `/dataset-registry.csv`
- `/data/redistribution-manifest.json`

Where a data-file or code licence has not been independently verified, the
portal says so and does not infer it from the article licence.

## Shenyang Agricultural University emblem

The institutional emblem at
`/institutions/shenyang-agricultural-university-emblem.png` is an unchanged
copy of the standard emblem published by Shenyang Agricultural University:

It is displayed only to identify the project team's institutional affiliation.
Its presence does not imply that the university has separately certified every
data record or portal release, and no general reuse licence is inferred. Uses
of the university emblem should follow the university's current visual
identity guidance.
